I haven't had an issue with Android auto. However I do not listen to music via my phone. The 4200 songs on a mini USB stick. I have Sirius XM and I listen to Yacht Rock or Fox News on that. But nothing beats my own playlist on a USB stick. I have version 3.4 as well and it's fine. I believe it's a decent upgrade from the 3.3 the royal pain in the ass to upgrade 3.4. I only use Android auto for Waze. Other than that I usually don't even have the phone hooked up into the system unless it needs charging. I am rocking a note 10 with no issues. I don't think Android auto supposed to be hooked up via if you need to have a USB cable to use all the features. Or where I go, the stock navigation works fine. If I go on a trip, I use Waze
