Android Auto map "add a report" feature coming?

Hello,

Curious if anyone has any insight to this? I never cared until I had the feature in an f150 loaner and my wife's Pilot (with my phone). Way of giving back on road trips where I see something on the road.

Been trying to download a sync update the last few days but seems to fail due to bad wifi reception I think. Figured I would just ask rather than waste time trying to get that update going if it doesn't add value anyway.

Yeah, it is nice actually to see those warnings on the maps especially when on a 2 lane hwy. Or even cops on the road, appreciate those that report it so would be nice to return the favor. I hope we get it considering it currently lets us report if something is still there.

Yeah, Waze has had that for a while.

It is extremely handy for everything from debris on the road to PoPo up ahead padding the local coffers.

Waze has gotten much better in the last couple of years.

You used to get warnings about potholes up ahead that were basically expansion joints in the road.

Now it requires multiple reports before it's pushed out.

One reason I have been using Wayze 90% of the time. The other 10% is because I want to see the compass that Google maps has.

Yea, I used to use it and honestly don't remember why I stopped. Friggen oldtimers is getting me. Might have to give it another shot next trip.

It won't be long in the future when Waze goes the way of the Dodo, once everyone is updated to the ability to report on Maps, there won't be a reason for Waze to exist.

Mine has done this for almost 2 years. Then again I pushed a manual update on mine. Not sure if it was supposed to work or not. I was having issues and got desperate.

There is a way to report stuff on Maps? I have really liked the increased accuracy of Waze and the traffic warnings. Is this available on Maps?

They're rolling it out to users, some of us haven't got the rollout yet. I have issues with Waze accuracy, multiple times in the last few months it has taken me up to 8 miles AWAY from my entered destination, only to get there and have to use Maps. I report the issue to Waze, so hopefully it's something that gets addressed.
