If I had known adding ACC was going to be this easy I would have started it 2 years a go!
Easy, yeah sure, let me break my truck first! hahahahaha
(Technically I was second @CHrisin gets credit for being the first)

I also will re-state my thanks. This was the first time I adjusted as-built codes manually and not using the easy/GUI way. Could not have done that without everyone else's detective work.

Agreed on a full writeup - this was the trial stage - it's time to tell the forum what we all did as a collaborative effort. I updated my spreadsheet a page back to remove the APIM coding.

Well done gentlemen! Tip my hat to you all for sticking with this to the end.

You’re correct a write up that can turn into a DYI thread would be the most beneficial to all. I would think one of the mods would WIKI or sticky the thread once you have it written up to your standards. Again, nice job!!!!

Lastly my missing wires. Temp solution, Canbus Low/High from the IMPA (at the mirror) to the connector which takes them to pins 2/3 @ C903 in the A pillar.

That's the number that was on the harness. I'm researching to see if Ford lists a different number.
I was unable to find a longer part number for the correct mirror/IPMA harness using the Ford parts online sites.

I reached out to Tasca, hopefully they will come through for me.

I was able to try it for a few miles and it's pretty cool how it applies the brakes, had a guy turning in front of me. Any idea what speed it will go down to?

My Lincoln would take you down to a dead stop!

Also fun trick - I live in a small village and the speed changes to 30MPH as you come into town.
With the cruise set at whatever your set speed was, press and hold the set speed down button and it jumps down by 5MPH at a time. Release at the speed you want and blamo, the Truck punches the brakes and slows you down to your set speed.

I think we need to condense the steps into a walk through for others to follow rather than read 15 pages of the trials and errors we made along the way.

And lastly, Huge thanks to the group and input from others CHrisin, micl9, 5G Dan-O to get us to the finish line.
With everyone's permission Mike, Dave, Krzysztof (Who else am I forgetting?) I can assemble a how-to. I didn't take pics so I will humbly ask to use some of the pics shared in this post.
Unless someone already started one?

Yes, I'd love to see it in a downloadable PDF as well.

Got my pins today. Thank you micl9 for finding them. They certainly look the size. I will solder up a twisted jumper after work. This may be easier than ordering and replacing the cable.

Could solder up some additional jumper wires, and grab some Radar unit plugs and have a kit. I certainly would have paid for one.

Hey guys - easy way to change the steering wheel switch?
I tired to use Krzysztof's pics but he has a tremor so strg wheel trim looks different.

Save yourself the anguish of lost screws and just pull the steering wheel.

The air bag pops off, there's 2 holes on the side/backside. A small flat blade screwdriver pushes the locking tabs in from the side. I know the pic I found has a phillips.
First one is tough, after that, it's easy peezy. I'd bet there's a YouTube video poking around.
Found one:

Pop the air bag connector retainers out of each of the air bags and the connectors just come out. Don't forget to put the CPA (assurance clips) back in!

I believe it's a TX50 in the center bolt - just put a drop of Loctite on when you reinstall it.
(It's actually a special Torx with wider splines)

Flip the steering wheel over on the bench on a towel and you'll find the silver Torx screws on the back I think there's 6 of them, size TX20. There's 2 that don't need to be removed - if you look, those 2 go into the wheel's frame and can stay in.
The plastic trim piece is tight so you have to wiggle it a little and it will come off with a pop.

Once the trim is off, you'll see how to remove the switch.
