They look like that new I think. I remember seeing mine right after I bought it thinking wtf?

Someone with little miles can verify.
Yep, 1300 miles, no towing, no heavy load and looks pretty much the same

Bump stops destroyed. Edit....or On mine or As above, they are supposed to be like that? I Don’t think I have ever bottomed it out.

Since day 1.
I'll bring this to my dealer service attention on my first oil change.

Nope...bottoms gone on both sides
There is no bottom, that's how it's supposed to look. (Well, really it should look like 4 arcs around the hole pointing inward, but there's some mold residue between them that they didn't bother cleaning off because it's purely cosmetic and on the bottom of the truck.)

Just replaced ours with Air Lift airbags and that's what they looked like.

Glad I found this thread, I just noticed this under my truck and thought I was losing my mind.

Unrelated, but since I was down there I noticed the chain hanging from the spare tire. Is that normal or should it be secured in there somehow? I don't want it rubbing and rust out prematurely.

Ya mine were the same. I took it to the dealer for service and the tech made up an order to have them replaced under warranty. Well, new ones were the same as the old ones. I guess even Ford has a learning curve.
