I understand the thought behind it but i also question if it causes premature wear on the engine components like the starter etc. Not sure what my thoughts are.
Ya mine were the same. I took it to the dealer for service and the tech made up an order to have them replaced under warranty. Well, new ones were the same as the old ones. I guess even Ford has a learning curve.
I think what i will like about it being up here in saskatchewan, the weather changes so much in spring and fall that one day it will be too cold for the auto stop/start to work and the next day its shutting the engine off each time you stop. If its not warm enough or the heater is on or the a/c...

This was a freeby so why not. I always forgot to push the button and frustrated me. When i saw they were looking for testers i had it within a few days at no cost. Works great.
We have now noticed that the front wrap around portion of the grill section is not the same color as the rest of the truck. There is no metallic flake in the paint. Also the paint has peeled in a very small section at the joint. I need to talk to Ford about this.
Yes, my body guy says its not ri coat. He says that the box had been repainted from the factory with 2 more coats. Must have had some defects originally. Lots of coverage in any case.
