It's a common problem with the 2019's - mid 2020's. I ended up doing the dyi fix because we rarely need heat out here and I didn't want the dealer tearing apart my dash and console only to have it rattle later. So, my 2019 Ranger first gave me a check engine light last month and I received a notice on Ford Pass that the turbocharger had reduced output. Dealership had it for almost 2 weeks because they were so backed up. Got it back after they did a software update for powertrain control module. Next day I’m driving it home from work and, with A/C on, hot air is blowing out of driver side vents and cold air out of passenger side. Called dealership and can’t get in for over a month. Less than 16K miles, not happy.
Here's a lengthy thread on it with a lot of good info.
