Like Tracy said, it’s cooler than normal this spring here in the South. This week in North Ga., will have lows in the 40’s / 50’s and highs in the upper 60’s to low 70’s and no rain. Perfect.

With summer approaching we just hit our first triple digit day today @ 102 but the mornings are still nice with low to mid 60's so it's not to bad yet. This has been one crazy year where we've had a record cold winter and record rains. This spring has been all over the place too where a few days will be 80/50 then a couple days will be high 90's/60. This week it's back to nicer weather with low to mid 80's and low 60's.

Annie's in Chicago for the past 2 weeks and it's still freezing there and they had a touch of snow last weekend. ? How's everyone else weather been across the country?

We had our first wildfire of the season already up by I-17 and New River then again the second one was at Table Mesa East yesterday evening. Going to be a wild ride but I hear we are in for a wetter than normal monsoon.

Greg, I didn't know about the wildfires which is kind of early. I haven't kept up on the local news much with all I've had going on but a more active monsoon will be nice for a change. The last several summers have been ore of a Non-soon out here in the west valley. I don't like the humidity it brings but we need the rain and I love the cool lightning storms they produce.

I'm sure there is a similar site for each state, but here is the Emergency Information Network (EIN) for Arizona. https://ein.az.gov/

I check it Tuesday and Thursday mornings for an Amateur Radio Check in on W7ARA to see if our area or areas we support have any changes to the Ready / Set / Go status.

Beyond that you can check this site - It pulls from the Phoenix Automatic Aid Dispatch Center (Lower Buckeye) where all of the 911 calls in Maricopa County route through. https://htms.phoenix.gov/publicweb/

Again I'm sure other states and counties have similar, but that's how I stay in the know since we live out near the wilderness and fires pop up from time to time.

Every couple of days we switch from winter to summer and back......
Every couple of days?? We get that every couple of hours. This is a legit "look" around here:

Temps can fluctuate 20 degrees in the space of a day. Here's a primer on Canadian seasons:

TBH, I wouldn't have put the slice for "Real Spring" that large; I'd have left it thinner than the stem on the arrow.

What a difference 48 hours makes. It's 60* now (yes I'm cold ?) with a high of only 88 today. Some really nice weather a head for us too considering this is May and we're usually mid to high 90's by now.:sun::tumbleweed:

New England has been mild with lots of rain this year. Trees are all budded out already. Allergies are kicking in early too! Super mild winter as we never got more than a dusting of snow

While this was the first year I can remember ever riding the Harley in February, it has been off and on ever since with average cooler weather. Last Friday was rained out, Saturday was low to mid-70's which made a nice day at the steeplechase races. Sunday was rain again. The last two days were low 60's and cloudy. But it looks like we will be trending warmer over the next several days.

Even my friends tell my I live in wrong place. When summer highest temps arrive and everyone else whine about “too hot”, this is when I finally feel myself like a human being.

I don’t know what I’ve done so bad in my previous life but here it is:

Seasonal temps here in Southeast Texas. Thank goodness because the past couple years May and June have been above average for heat.

She says it's been awful the whole time she's been there. Figures she leaving Saturday and it looks like it'll finally be in the 60's there. lol I'm sure once she's back home here she'll be complaining it's to hot.?
