Wonder what it's gonna be in Payson??? ?
See, I really love those temps because it cools off at night there. Unlike the heat island here it'll still be over 100 at 10:00 pm and it was 85* at 6:00 am and it's already93* out now. I'm really going to have to check your area out one day. ?

Payson you say, eh? ?

I feel for you in the southwest....
Today's high in Va, Shenandoah Valley is expected to be around 80 degrees, 60's at night.
Goes up to 85-90 degrees for the rest of the week. Shouldn't get above 90 degrees or so for the summer....maybe a handful of days higher than 90.
Rain on and off periodically every day or two.......enough that we have no drought, green grass that I have to mow every 5-6 days.

I grew up in Southside VA, and worked 2 yrs in the Youth Conservation Corps in the Shenandoah Valley area. We were based in the Luray/Woodstock area. We spent summers building and maintaining trails, and even helped with some wildfire fighting (very very very back line stuff).
Good times in God's country.

Canada needs to send some of thier smoke your way to block out the sun. We've had plenty of it in northern Ohio.

We're getting a cool front. It's only 89 now for our low and 113-115 for the high this week. By next Saturday I should be wearing a parka.?

For whatever reason all my usual weather sites and app have broken in the last few weeks. Had an app that worked great for years, enough that I paid for it, and now is nonsense. It reports the "feels like" temperature as the actual temperature...but sometimes doesn't, and has messages that make no sense.

Even accuweather told me it "feels like 107" yesterday when it didn't. I was outside all day. And reports it's going to "feel like 120" next Wednesday. I don't get the heat index going that high when the humidity is low. Also none of these sites even tell me the humidity anymore. I tried Weather.com which I used many years ago and the headline there is the ocean currents could collapse, the earth is at a devastating tipping point and we will all die soon, so I guess I'm not going to get an accurate forecast there either. I have started using Weather Underground (despite the name heh) as I can uncheck the "feels like" bullshit and check humidity and get an accurate forecast. See it's going to be 95 on 8/02 not 120! This is the same area!
