had to replace the fan about a year ago. BE CAREFUL!!! The fan I got I had to tap the holes where the fan attached to the grille! lol
You should've changed it out and used the Raptor grille. ?

I always start mine up early in the spring to see if it will make it another year before taking the covers off and cleaning the coil. This year it wouldn't even make a noise. Pulled the back cover and found hundreds of stink bugs had snuck in the cracks and made a winter home in there.

Then pulled the electric box cover and there were even more

The hard shells were jammed in the main contactor and it wouldn't move. Cleaned them out and then opened it all up and cleaned the coils to hopefully get another year from it. All the dust from farming in the area really makes a mess of the coils every year but at 26 years old the girl still runs great when cleaned up. We had many of those stink bugs last fall and guess they thought it was a safe place to spend the winter. Did the capacitor a couple years back after we had a series of power surges that toasted it.
