Great post. I’ve changed my oil twice now on my 22 Tremor. I installed the Valvomax oil drain on the first change. Worked great for the second. No mess whatsoever and can skip removing the skid plate. And by the way, your truck is WAY to clean underneath ?
I actually had cleaned it up pretty well the other day underneath knowing I was gearing up for the oil change but yes it still looks rather new and only just over 2000 miles. About half of those in the mountains on gravel and dirt roads. Heading back up to the mountains this weekend and then next weekend for some camping and hiking to enjoy the fall leaves with my wife and the pooch.
It will be plenty dirty after that:cool:

Oh the joy of the oil change.
Well doing it right anyway.

Just changed oil on my 2021 Lariat and was a pleasure this morning. Reasonable weather temp.
No rush and had everything I needed: Motorcraft Full Synth 5W30 and an Motorcraft FL-910-S filter.

Still find it a trip that Ford made a catch and channel for the oil filter spillage to keep oil off of components when changing the filter. It works quite well and keeps things tidy as long as you have a catch basin under it. Even if you fully drain engine until no dripping; when you pull your filter you will get some spillage - hence the catch basin channel.

Full synth oil...overkill....maybe but I feel better using it.

Oil change is relaxing...transmission fluid change a little more challenging...
