I have a 2020 Ford Ranger STX that just crossed over 20k miles. I've always had the truck regularly serviced.
Love the truck except one thing - 4 times so far the truck has had problems accelerating, like where the transmission fails to shift up and no matter how hard you go on the gas pedal it's stick at going like 20-25 mph.
It's happened 2 times in the summer and 2 times in winter when it was freezing outside.
Both times I pulled the truck over, shut it off, and then turned it back on and the issue went away.
Any thoughts as to what the issue could be? On the broader scale, does the 10-speed transmission the truck have need any special ongoing maintenance or anything like that?
