2019 Ford Ranger Wheel Options

Does anyone know the size of these OEM's? I think they might look good with my black STX trim. If anyone has these wheels and tires on your STX, a picture would be appreciated.

I collect the pictures of the Scab. Its not my truck. I am looking at purchasing a 6G Ranger.

Those are the black appearance package wheels. 18x8", +55 offset. I have them on my Ranger.

I have great concern that I will not be able to purchase a 6G PHEV Scab Ranger,
Ford seems to package this on the high end models ie. the Lariat. Crew Cab. We will have to wait and see. I hope the Scab does not disappear. On the Ranger 5G site I can see there are like 90% Crew Cab Owners vs the 10% Scab's.

I have the 18" Black package but a 16" steel spare? Seems ford would supply an 18" spare..

Did you get a 18" spare rim and tire.
I seemed to have gotten the factory issued 17". Dealer said this is normal to have a smaller tire as the spare.
I don't see how far I would get with one of four tires smaller, especially when towing.

My OEM tires came with a spare that was one size smaller than the ground tires. I upgraded to BFG K02's 265/70/17 obtained from a private owner and fortunately the spare wheel and tire came the same size as the ground tires

Owners manual, p. 304:
Note: Your vehicle could be equipped with a dissimilar spare wheel and tire assembly. A dissimilar spare wheel and tire assembly is defined as a spare wheel and tire assembly that is different in brand, size or appearance from the road tires and wheels. If you have a dissimilar spare wheel and tire assembly it is intended for temporary use only and should not be used in a tire rotation.

Owners manual, p. 289:
Operating 4WD Vehicles with a Spare tire or Mismatched Tires On four-wheel drive vehicles, the size of the spare tire can affect the 4X4 system. If there is a significant difference between the size of the spare tire and the remaining tires, the four-wheel drive functionality will be limited. When driving with the full-size dissimilar spare wheel and tire assembly, we recommend that you do not: • Exceed 50 mph (80 km/h) with 4WD mode turned on. • Turn on a 4WD mode unless the vehicle is stationary. • Use 4WD mode on dry pavement.

Great information thanks. I was kind of hoping FORD screwed up and would change out the factory issued 17' rim and wheel with a 18" rim that I upgraded to on purchase.

Thats a bummer! Unfortunately, it seems that now with all manufacturers the standard is to issue smaller spares

@RayO the overall rolling diameter of both the 17inch and 18inch should be very close to the same. Did you have the actual size of the 17inch spare?
