I'm 65 and don't care to impress anybody by what I drive. The Ranger I modified for what I need, little lift, little bigger tires and winch. It gets better fuel economy then my old V-8 Raptor (double on regular verses premium) so the Raptor sits in the garage and the Ranger gets the mileage. I...
Same here, my 2003 7.3 F250 Odyssey batteries were 11-years old when I sold the truck and still tested at 100%. I installed new Odyssey batteries in all my new vehicles within 6-months of purchase, nothing worse than a bad battery at the worse time.
I retired from a city's vehicle maintenance facility and we had a serious issue with police vehicles battery life, most would kill a battery every week. As an experiment we used Oddesy batteries and the issue went away. All the police vehicles were switched to Oddesy batteries and occasionally...
I replaced my 2021's battery within a month with an Oddesy battery, same with my wife's new Rav4. Military spec batteries and the best.
My old 7.3 Diesel the Oddesy's were 11-years old and still 100% when I sold the truck.
Yes I refilled. I'm just concerned that it happened after getting the truck washed. Usually I hand wash it myself but just came out of mountains from hunting and had a busy few days ahead.
I'm trying not to take it in for warranty because I don't have any faith in the issue being resolved and...
Filled up the tank this morning then treated the truck to a car wash. After the second re-start the fuel gauge only goes to ~7/8 full. Took a ride to visit some friends about 80-miles away and topped off the tank thinking the pump must have shut off prematurely prior, still only goes to 7/8...
Chick magnet possibly, but in my high school during the mid-70's (I'm old) it was one of many muscle cars of the period. My highschool acually had a 1/4 drag strip along the school.
I wish I kept the stang, would have been nice to have in the garage. But I'm not alone regretting selling these...
My wife's Toyota came with two-years of free services and the first three were fine but the last one during the height of Covid was not. One day after the service woke up to oil drips (left the oil rings off the filter housing and over tightened). So from there on I do the oil changes as I have...
Maybe when fuel costs exceed $10 a gallon drivers will slow down? I doubt it, but maybe when their credit card is maxed out and have to pay with real money they'll wake up..
My 2021 got 24-25 prior to lifting the front 2" and going to 32" aggressive tires, now 20-21 combined. It's still a world better than my V-8 Raptor getting 10mpg on premium. I'll take the cycle or the wife's Rav4 on short runs around town. Hard to predict the future of gas prices but your vote...
My wife use to be concerned about her Rav4 making noises while off in the garage, after all noises the ranger makes she no longer worries about it. I don't care either as long as it starts when needed.
Took almost to the end of winter to figure out how to get floor heat. Learned finally to use climate of the display screen. Can't teach old dogs new tricks I guess..
Garaged. The Raptor sits outside and requires constant washing and waxing (Black). May sell both trucks if the 2023 Raptor comes out with the GT500 motor
