2015 Hondai Sanata meets 2019 Ranger the hard way

The good news...there is one less POS 2015 Hyndai Sonata on the road. The bad my truck is currently in the shop.Pretty light damage on my truck considering how hard he hit me. I definitely will be getting a new bumper and right tail light. Also hit the trailer hitch pretty hard. Awaiting the final estimate.

Needless to say I drove away with a mostly functioning vehicle ....he did not.

Hope you are okay. Any side pictures to see if the bed frame pushed towards the cab?

From the top of the passenger tail light it looks like bed might be tweaked.

Im ok got thrown around a bit. No side damage (hopefully)other than the bottom corner of my quarter panel by the bumper. Perhaps my RRO sliders helped. They are pretty stout.

I dropped it at the repair center Friday and I am awaiting the estamate from Geico who is accepting full responsibilities. We will see.

It sucks that it happened but it seems like you’re okay Todd. There are actually a lot of damaged parts there - wow! I hope you’re back on the road soon.

You know, RC makes a pretty cool off-road bumper, if that’s your thing.

I'm still trying to figure out if the original poster is somehow trying to describe a vehicle that Santa Claus drives or perhaps a vehicle that a Honda and a Hyundai had a baby.

If the bed not moved I would think it's not too bad for your truck. Hope not anyways.

Haha good to know Todd...sad to point out but it's tragic how light hits just makes the Ranger go to scrap yard...don't know if it's too expensive to repair or just expedient for insurance...look at what happened to @AzScorpion poor truck that got killed by a relatively slow hit...I hope that's not the case for yours...
