Is there a simple way to add 12v utility socket to truck bed? Can I tap into the trailer harness power supply?

There is a connector for this specific purpose behind the driver side bedwall…..and before I could get any further typing this, Dave came to the rescue. 😀

Spray or drop in?

I would think spray liners wouldn't be an issue, drop ins however probably will be. May have to get creative with a Dremel. I'm sure if you message Wolf haus they could clarify

I have a drop-in bed liner and they do not sit tight up against the bedside walls. I think the easiest way to get it to work is to use a hole saw to cut a large enough “porthole” in the liner where the plug is mounted to the bedside. Similar to the access portholes for the tie-downs.

There are structural grooves in the liner that are like to cause problems with fitment of the plug.

Thanks! My truck came with plastic bed liner that covers the mounting hole. Any idea about how far it is from tailgate?

It's right behind the rear wheel

There are a number of entry points into the bed that can be used. This YT install video might help you see where they are.
