Sid, too many folks want a piece of that my man....I think it would be more like a quarter.....lol.

You never know....maybe they will do a recall and you can get your money back.....
Not holding my breath....
Between this and Facebook class action, I should get at least 64 cents...

We now have just over 30000 miles on our 2019 Ranger, maybe 20000 of that towing our Scamp.
I always keep the gear indicator on so that I can know what gear its in and when it shifts.
Both the engine and the trans occasionally have some occasional minor idiosyncrasies when started cold. These are usually gone before the truck is out of sight of the house and can usually be avoided by giving the truck a few seconds before placing it in gear. Symptoms also seem to have gone away with the recent Battery replacement and reset.

The article about the law suit revealed nothing to pique my concern, in fact it seems a bit contrived.
Time will tell...

I got 100 from GM guys. There is a chance we could see like... 67... maybe?!?!?

I still need to cash the 5 dollar one ingot for something stupid recently. Wife has it hung on my reminder board. Principal of the matter and all.

I read this to mean everyone with this trans will be included or contacted? I've only got about 12K on my 2020 truck, and I'm not upset with it, but I sometimes notice a clunk or funky shift. I'm not losing sleep over it.

I wonder if I can get a 6-speed manual (MT-82) out of the deal?

It's interesting the wide range of experiences people have had with this transmission. Some people seem to experience nothing out of the expected ordinary while others become undrivable.

I've experienced the occasional jerkiness, but it's usually at very low speed across variable terrain, like turning onto my driveway which has a bit of a grade to it. That was concerning at first, but I've gotten used to it. Most of the time, it's worked exactly as it should and relatively smoothly. 40,000 miles with half of that towing our travel trailer.

I did get $1500 from Ford for lying about my 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid fuel mileage. Funny thing once I started to use ethanol free gas I got the mileage Ford Claimed it was supposed to get. Now tell me that ethanol is good for the environment??? There was only about 30 people who stuck out the whole process and got money out of Ford besides all the lawyers and there fees. I have had no issues with my tranny except when Lucille is cold. Now with the Unleashed tune she's awesome!

To try and put everyone to ease out there in 10R80 land....I'm working on 102K miles now on my 19' Ranger with no real tranny issues....let me give you a chronology of my life with the Ranger so far...lol.

BTW....I have had the "bump" in the tranny everyone talks about, more than a couple of times.....

So I made all of my modifications right around 25K to 30K miles a couple of years ago.....(you can look at my profile....nothing warranty killing).
I went the speed route with a level kit.....no off-road tires, just street performance. At 30K I started running my truck locally on Friday and Saturday nights...looking to burn some rubber with whoever was in for the taking. Believe me when I say I have pushed my 10R80 to the limit and past that more than a couple of times I am not kidding. With a high performance tune and street tires this thing will pop the rear-end sideways at 3rd gear with ease, come back in line a goooo! I can get a 4th gear chirp when conditions are right (mainly ambient air temp). You folks that do not have tuned Rangers have absolutely no idea how much more power you can harness with these engines....So anyway, I have toned it WAY down these days with my truck, but I guarantee you I spend the better part of 60K abusing the crap out of my setup and she still purrs down the road with no problems. I would think that if a 10R80 was going to come apart it would be mine for sure! I am running a softer shift tune now and I sure don't run her like I used too. I had the tranny service at 57K with fluid and filter change and will do it again in the very near future.
