I tried to follow the thread but may have missed what the common issue was for the climate control glitch. Would you mind giving the details for the subset that would be affected? Sorry if I missed it earlier. I have been holding off on the update until that bug was fixed but will go ahead if...
I got caught in a hail storm about 2 miles from my house a while back. The car held up a lot better than I thought it would, but there are a couple of dings on the roof.
That sucks. I hope they get you sorted out. I had a similar issue with Jeep and a 2014 Cherokee. The head unit display had a defect (green band always across the screen). You could still read the information, but it was annoying and the car only had a couple of thousand miles on it. So I...
One low key debadging move was to put the pivot toolbox on the side of the bed with the line x badge. Covered it up nicely without affecting the warranty or damaging the bed.
That is the worst part of the aftermarket parts. I used my rewards points to get the pivot toolbox from Ford specifically because I knew it would annoy me seeing the UnderCover logo every day over the Ford one. I took the dealer logo off right away. I am still on the fence about the EcoBoost...
I do not think I have any photos, but I had a gently used 1991 (red, regular cab) and a brand new 2000 (black, regular cab). Someone ran a light and totaled the first and I had to get rid of the second when my oldest was born.
Has anyone put the vinyl Ranger grill letters on a magnetic Renger with the magnetic trim? I am curious how much contrast they have and what color works best. It is hard to tell from other paint colors how it will look...
One of my first cars was the exact match of the regular cab Ranger shown on the cover of the sales brochure in picture 14 of that listing. It was my HS graduation present. Unfortunately, I only had it for a few weeks before some jerk ran a red light and totaled it. My parents took the...
I might have gone with the supercab to get the bigger bed, but my wife insisted that my car be able to hold our party of five. That would normally sound like an obvious concern, but I have observed that we never really travel as a family in my vehicles because my wife's car was always more...
I am aware of the harmonics issue. What I am experiencing is not nearly as annoying as that. This was just a rattle I could not ID until Kellan recommended checking the seatbelts.
They must have dropped the R&D component at some point for the Cherokee to be so high. My daughter drives a 2014 Cherokee and it was much lower that year due to the use of the Fiat platform.
I finally had a chance to test this out and you are correct. The belts are vibrating in the wind. If I buckle in the rear belts it reduces the vibration, but does not eliminate it.
When I am driving with the windows down, there is a rattling that sounds like it is the rear seat banging against the cab. I have tried cramming something behind there so there is not as much play, but it still does it. Has anyone else had this issue?
I am fairly new around here and...
