What steps did you do to do the upgrade?SYNC 3.4 19101 build successful. Google maps directions now show up on the productivity screen as well now.

Any odd things happen during the upgrade? Did you just have the ignition on the whole time or did you have it running? And how long did it take total? Oh, and do you have the climate option at the bottom of the screen after updating?
Everything was as the instructions indicated. Just ignition on but I had the battery tender plugged in. The truck was less than 30 mins because of the larger file with the nav. My Fusion was less than 20 mins. Everything is there that was there before including the climate. You just download file for USB1, choose the file for USB 2 depending on your configuration, turn on the ign, plug in 1, remove and plug in 2 when it tells you, wait till 2 says it's done, unplug and it's pretty much done.Any odd things happen during the upgrade? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm really interested in this upgrade and don't want to mess anything up.
Thanks much!
I may have some work to do this weekend - I also have the bumper strips for the doors I have to install..... If I do I will post my results as well.Everything was as the instructions indicated. I did this upgrade today and it went very smooth however I've lost the climate option in the Sync screen. I did some googling to see if I could find how to restore it but so far nothing I've done has gotten it to re-display. Anyone have any ideas on how to restore this?SYNC 3.4 19101 build successful. That's weird. I still have climate on mine. You might have to play with forscan to get it back.I did this upgrade today and it went very smooth however I've lost the climate option in the Sync screen. The 3.4 Sync does seem to be a little faster than the 3.3 version.
I was able to get my seat heaters to display on the home screen, though.
I've tried, but I can't find the magic value to bring it back. That's weird. I still have climate on mine. You might have to play with forscan to get it back.
