Hoping this link is correct for anyone that wants to check out a Glove Compartment Organizer.
I have been wanting one since my latest Ranger was parked in my carport. Haven't seen one listed that said 2019-2023, so after trying to come up with something that didn't look like it belonged on Jeb Clampet's vehicle, I decided to try this one from Amazon. It says 2023-2026 or something like that, but Amazon is very easy to return to so I took a chance. It came today, and after getting my Structural Engineering degree to assemble it I was quite pleased with the outcome. Now I have a two level glove compartment. It sells for about $24.61 including my Florida state tax.

The fit is perfect. Remember, this has to be removed to take the glove compartment out of the opening. If it wasn't any good, I wouldn't have told the Forum that I make terrible choices!

Today's project was air hoses for the on board air. I printed some brackets to hold the hose, now there is a hose permanently mounted on each side. When it's time to air up after the trail, I can open the doors, drop the hoses, and connect one to each front tire or each rear tire and air up. I don't have to dig around for the hose anymore.

I am still working on how to store the hoses on the molle panes of the SmartCap but I think I have something figured out. Parts arrive tomorrow.

How much does a gallon of 87 cost in your area? Here in SouthernJersey (near Atlantic City ) we are at 4.25 a gallon as of yesterday (July 26th).

Sold it to Carvana. :bandit:

Never had an issue with it, but you all had me worried that the transmission was going to grenade at any moment. :D Seriously, I retired last year and only used it a few times to tow our travel trailer, which was also recently sold. In the 5 plus years of ownership, I only put a little under 16k miles on it. 95% of those miles were driving down south looking for places to retire. We finally settled in FL and quickly found out that a golf cart > 2nd vehicle, especially when you only have a 2 car garage. I will miss the versatility it offered, but it wasn't used enough to justify keeping it.

I pulled a few things out of it before the sale, so I'll be listing them for sale when I get a chance.

It's $3.67 a gallon here in North Texas.

I put the truck in harms way by coming to a complete stop at a stop sign., Lady rear ended me and fled the scene. My son got a really good picture of her tag and police already found her.

Edit, I see no damage to the truck and all of my passengers are fine. I got an appointment at Ford in the morning to check the hitch receiver mount, make sure none of the bolts for for it were damaged and WeighSafe already said that hitch needs to be replaced. I had just unhooked my car trailer after the race last weekend before leaving the house and was planning on getting a u-haul as a temp storage at the house while getting some work down over the next week. Didn't get the u-haul after the impact.

She seriously thought her 3800 Buick engine was let her out run my tuned Ranger?!? No. LOL I got close enough for my son to get a good picture and then backed off as she was being very wreckless in her fleeing attempt. Once I had the picture of the plate/car and driver description I had all I needed for the police report.

Also, a little more details, the police didn't find her, they found the car and confirmed the damage that would be consistent with having run into my hitch. But, no one would answer the door to them where they found the car parked. I got the Driver Exchange form from the police this afternoon. It added the vehicle owner information as well as the VIN and home address. With that I googled the most common to least common insurers in the state the car is tagged. Started "cold calling" them with the limited info and had to ask if they hold the policy for that car. Ding! USAA, and I got the policy number, filed a claim against the car's owner's policy.

This morning Ford inspected the hitch receiver, confirmed that they also didn't see any damage to it and blessed off the truck to tow with that receiver as normal. So the total is only about $450 (hitch and inspection) their insurance has to pay.

I'm still hoping that something can be done about them fleeing the scene.

Good on you for doing the due diligence to find them, but still hoping for some justice too.
