Wonder if anyone filled up on diesel before the mistake was noticed, I've used that Maverick station numerous times in Montrose, almost always busy, and for anyone who RVs and uses dump stations - it can be nasty even from a distance. I've heard of bio-degradable diesel fuel sources but I don't think this fits the bill. But nothing really surprises me anymore in Colorado, the state has been turned into a giant septic tank.

Ok here is a gross somewhat darwin like story that really happened back in WNY, when still a teen we'd get six packs of beer and drink at a small heavily wooded area adjacent to a golf course, the green was close by and occasionally cops would swing by but we usually knew them . So a friend shows up with a new guy one night and this guy walks out of the woods onto the green - much to our dismay he proceeds to drop trou and make a deposit into the cup. We say why and he says he'd knows the course maintenance guy who inspects the greens each am and doesn't like him. A short time later cops we'd never seen pull up and say they are checking because they had reports of trespassing on the golf course, one goes to the green and shines his flashlight into the cup and sees it - the cops say someone must own up to it or we all going to placed under arrest. The culpable party had no choice but to own up to it - and as a fitting punishment the cops made him clean the cup with his bare hands. Everyone including the 2 cops were roaring with laughter, and the pooper learned his lesson that night, we never saw him again. Story I'll remember forever.
