Location of gravel pit
Its not necessarily a better truck than a Lariat or any g5/6g Ranger. It just takes excess to a whole new level and seriously amps up the fun factor. Its pretty potent stock, but a fp tune will take it from ,"wow" to "holy sh*t! " I love mine, my only gripe was the B and O sounds was not great. Focal and JL fixed that. Just give the ko3s and brakes 1k miles or so before you really push them on pavement. 4auto is your friend. After having it I will never own a truck without it.I bought it. Was close to getting lariat and had the numbers but then my wife saw how much better the Raptor was. With trade in i paid 51k but did extended warranty which brought up to 54k. Showed finacer the granger price and cut down the price.

Just make sure it is in 2wd, it might start in 4wd. From what it sounds like, Raptors can do Baja in 2wd where my Ranger will kick it out of Baja if I select 2wd instead. It is a spicey mode, wish I could drive with it on-road lol
2wd, traction control off, baja exhaust, sport setting is my R setting by tapping r button twice. The RR will drift on pavement nicely.
No way 1300. I paid 830 inclusive for the tuner and installation from Ford and had it delivered to my dealer who regestered and installed so my warranty is intact. Ford has 20% off accessories right now plus you should have points after buying a 60k truck.
The Ranger Raptor in it's natural state. At least that's been my experience.
