R&R front coilovers

I hear you. I've had mine sitting on my front deck for over a week now. Rear brake rotors came in so jumped on that today. Took me damn near all day yo do ONE. All this Titanium in my neck and back is starting to weigh me down. Especially in this 90+ degree heat.

Yeah, I just had 2 discs in my neck replaced 6 months ago (no more numb fingers!), and I'm trying to get backed up projects completed.

Summer is coming and so are the high humidity high temp dog days. We're both working against the clock. I'm north of you in NC and we are hitting the mid 80's with 75% humidity.

Took me about 5 hours just to R&R left rear rotor and pads. So I know what you mean.

Got a sudden burst of energy(see "King of Hammers" thread) and decided to knock out the rears real quick...

Edit: test drive confirms much improvement , especially speed bumps , BIG difference on those...

Yes. I did rear shocks last week. Definitely a better ride.
LR was a bugger to get off. Bottom bolt had Gaulded to the bushing in the shock. Had to eventually cut the bolt off. But, worth it.

You almost can't call the Ford parts shocks, they look like shocks, but they don't act like shocks.

Yep. We are steady in the mid 80s to 90. Humidity hasn't hit the 90% YET! Thats when I will be Worthless.

That guy that everyone refers to on you tube, had a trick with a 3in bolt and a nut to push the rotors off from the back. Worked perfectly. I cant recall his name right off. They say, "the mind is the First thing to go". And THEY are so right.

“Robguy’s Garage” . It’s a great tip. I now have a 3” x 1/2” bolt in my tool chest.

Im preparing for my 3rd and 4th spine surgery. Had a 6 in Titanium Cage with 8 screws added in 2016.
First one was an ACDF done in 1996. VA has sent me out to Emory in Atl. Their Neurosurgeon says thst they will be ready when I am. For the next one on my neck. Along with trying to fix low back now.
Neither one of neck surgeries really did much good..Better than worst of times but never what they promised. Emory found possible cancer in throat or larynx. They have run a bunch of tests. Have appt. next Mon. with Oncologist. Guess she will give me results. But, since they haven't gotten in touch, makes me think No 911 so maybe everything is negative. 🫣🫣

Yes sir. Thats the guy. I watched his video at least 5 times and had it running while I did left rear. . Finished the rears today. Still have Mushy brakes. I read a post in here about bleeding them to correct that issue.

Yeah, a regular old-school style brake bleed will help the soft brake feel. It’s nice if you have a helper to pump and hold the brake pedal.

Some scanners have a bleed feature, as does Forscan, but it only bleeds the ABS system and not the brake lines.

There’s a sequence to bleeding them in order, which I’ve never followed - start with the closest, finish with the furthest? Maybe that’s not it? Don’t quote me! Google it.

I've always done. Start with Farthest away to closest to master cylinder.
Also have read in here about the FORSCAN method and only doing the abs system. Mine have been Squishy since I got it. Dealer said it was " normal".. I told them Bullsnot! No way im hell brakes should feel like you are mashing on a wet sponge. If I pump them up once or twice before stop, they are fine.
