Hi there.... I'm Candy, named after the very nice lady that found me a home. I'm about 2 years old and I will be traveling with a health cert. I need you to help me get to my new owner....my new family, the man that saved me from death row. I was in the final hours of count down with tears in my eyes, I was thinking no one wanted me. I began to cry and ask why? I'm a loving girl, very friendly... I couldn't understand why every one just looked over me...
But then it happened.!!!
I got the news that changed my life for ever! I was adopted.!!!
Someone I've never met wants ME!
Someone I've never met LOVES ME!! Someone I've never met is giving me a a furever home!
I'm so excied and hate that I have to wait till the weekend to travel but that is when everyone can pitch in and move me along down the road. Please help me get to my new owner.... My family... My furever home..!!

Just walked her a mile in Colonial Williamsburg. She was very happy and is snuggling again.

Just got home from camp but on Friday, I attended an old snowcat event near us. Would you folks like to see pics taken there? Folks came from 1000 miles away there to do it with there dated machines. I was there to take pictures. Here are a few.

OK, last night we got home from yet another busy weekend at camp. Got in trail clearing, firewood moving, trail grooming, skiing and more. Bottom one shows what happens to dogs after being out in deep snow all day.

Yes, as my spouses folks were growing weak and passing, she thought she need something positive and found a puppy lab n border collie mix. Enter Lulu. Wally, the kelpie/Heeler mix is getting on in age and slowing down. This 7yo neighbor girl named her for us.

Arly, I bet that is a fun get together.

This was the 3rd time I had attended this event but last time there, I was stopping at gates to lock them and managed to drop my camera at one , hence lost my photo's. Now that I'm retired, I'll try go again next winter.

Someone stopped by this am on her way to gram's. She's the one who named Lulu the black lab. We are packing to head back to camp today for three day stay.
