Hi,
Searching the threads I did not see anyone asking about the same issue. About a month ago the GPS in our 2021 Ranger stopped working, saying it doesn't have a signal. At the same time, we could no longer connect with Bluetooth, and it can't find anything to pair. Also, it can't find any wifi signals. Android Auto using a cable works fine and I did a master reset of Sync. It sounds to me like all the antennas are unplugged? Where are they and where are their cables connected. Other ideas?
Thanks for any help.
Cheers,
Paul

Here is the diagram for the satellite antenna (GPS and Sirius XM) and AM/FM antenna. Does your AM/FM radio work ok?

The cellular modem is located just above the passenger foot well panel at glovebox height. Antennas feed into it. I'm not sure how much of the communications tech feed into / out of it.

If it were me I'd start checking fuses. Fuse 8 or 9 in the cabin panel feeds the telecom box I mentioned above. The fuse is a double combo fuse (looks like an "M" - 3 legs instead of 2).

Thank you for the diagram. Yes, AM/FM work fine, as well as SiriusXM. Other than the ACM and perhaps ground, I don't see a common component for Bluetooth, GPS and Wifi?

Could it be that your phone’s Bluetooth is turned off?
Alas, no. I can Bluetooth connect to our other car and other phones also can't connect. In fact, when I ask the truck to find discoverable devices, the list is empty.

Uh oh. Last summer I cleaned a mouse nest from the air filter behind the glove box. I wonder... and will check both the connector and the fuses. Thanks.

Another member is having problems with his glovebox retraction cable and posted this image.
I shamelessly borrowed his picture to highlight the telematics module in green.

Best of luck to you.

Make sure you are on the latest version 3.4.23188. Anything older has built-in issues that develop over time.

And if all the fuses and wiring are good, you might try pulling the fuses (or disconnecting the battery) for a short time to let all the hardware completely reset.

Yes on 23188. Will check the fuses tomorrow when it is a lot warmer.

I had to get a fuze puller kit for the 100+ fuzes of multiple types. Why did they make it so complex? In any case, all the fuzes are good. I did another Master Reset. Same problem - no reception of GPS, wifi or Bluetooth signals.

Any other things to try before I take it to the dealer?

Thanks,
Paul

Using Forscan, scan for any DTC codes. Since you had a mouse in the cab, check for chewed wires under the dash, especially at the center.

Thanks, I did a scan of the entire under the dash area I could see and there was no indication the damanable vermin made it past the air filter. I will try hooking the truck up to scan the DTC list, but don't have an adapter, yet.
