You really don't understand do you, how important it is to save that extra 0.001 MPG. Accelerated engine, starter, and battery wear + annoyance is a small price to pay for that. Very first thing I would turn off, thank you Forscan.
Speaking of saving the planet, Germany Forced Lexus to Disable Remote Start because apparently warming up your car is a form of environmental terrorism.

Many modern vehicles with Remote Start only have it through the app, not on the fob.

Which means it can be remotely disabled, placed behind a paywall, or removed entirely if deemed too detrimental to the human race, all on the whim of someone who knows better than you.

I would have thought that driving it cold would cause even more pollution, but hey what would I know. I can think of far worse things that are done to the planet every day. I imagine that cruise ships and "holiday" plane transport is on the hit list too. (unnecessary fossil fuel use)

Germany banned my gardening youtube videos a while back. They didn't want people learning how to grow their own food. Luckily I won that case after filing for a review by youtube legal dept.

I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually started doing that here and they already did with certain gun videos. I had several videos on building ARs saved and over the years noticed most are gone. The probably demonetized the Youtuber because a few others were still there.

That is definitely Russian - sledding straight into a steel swing set.

Thanks Morgan. Clearly, the sledding run I built in my backyard needs a bit of a top-up. Hey, @LaBalbe , throw an extra shovel in the back of your truck and head over here - we’ve work to do.

That would make great fatbiking trails!!

Fatbiking eh!

It really would Mel - if it was a bigger property but the sledding run is much shorter than it seems in the picture. It’s a ton of fun though!

It’s a ravine lot, so it’s limited by a sharp drop off to a river. I’m actually in the heart of a small city (300,000) so the neighbours’ houses are very close. However, I still have enough property to do silly things like build a bob sleigh run (or small fat bike trail) in my backyard. :D

We’re keeping a close watch out, but I think our area is just mainly rain.
But… we did have our version of a blizzard this past Sunday. We were all so excited! We had a good dusting of snow. Not as much as last year, but it was great nevertheless.😆
That being said, praying for anyone who may be affected in the coming days by the ice storm.

Tracy, I’ve always marveled at your wide open, level lot, but I can’t help but think how pretty your yard looks with that dusting of snow on the ground and in the trees. 👌

Thank you! We sure did enjoy it. We take full advantage of the opportunity no matter how much or little (&it is mostly little😆) we get!
Hope everyone is safe and warm during this storm going on now. No ice or snow, but we did have a tornado or two or three in the surrounding areas. Just a few limbs down at our house.

Just finished my fourth and hopefully final plow run. I gotta say that ice/sleet was nasty. I would much rather had all snow. I also learned a lot about driving Oppie in serious bad conditions. 4 low and Diff lock got me out of some serious trouble. Not to mention embarrassing if I had to ask my neighbor to bring over his tractor. I got through it all on Michelin Defenders. These are great all-season tires.

Yep, the more electronic we go, the more control the evil side has over us. Playing right into their game plan. Just wait till the chip on your credit card now will be in your hand……

Tracy, good to hear you got enough to enjoy but remain relatively unscathed.

The dusting we got was last Sunday. The storm going on now, just strong wind & rain (some areas had tornadoes). But, thank you, yes we are all fine.
Hope you and yours are doing well Steve.
