Well the snow prediction for Saturday was about right, then the sleet came starting early this morning. Plowed the three driveways (mine and my two neighbors) last night around midnight, then I got up at 5am and plowed again, sleet had started. Then I waited way too long to plow a third time because holy crap the shit was thick and heavy. In fact, if it weren't for diff lock, I'd still be stuck out there somewhere.

Same frustration here, trust me. My brother up in Pa heats with a coal fired auto feed boiler I helped him install and plumb up. He just told me coal is $400 a ton plus delivery and he was worried these idiots we are talking about were going to stop all mining rendering his $25,000 boiler useless. Hell I delivered and shoveled coal in the 70’s and paid $10.00 a ton at the mine.

It's Australia Day today (Australian equivalent to Thanksgiving) so off to a friends place soon to soak in their pool and have a a BBQ and a few beers.

Went for a drive today in the Texas "snow". Had a little fun, maybe too much fun lol. I noticed when I got on the brakes a little harder and the wheels started to break loose that my brake pedal would vibrate and make an audible noise. Almost like a frog. Thoughts? Had the truck for a year and never felt or heard this before.

Yeah living in Texas you're probably like me, only get to see that in mud.

You really don't understand do you, how important it is to save that extra 0.001 MPG. Accelerated engine, starter, and battery wear + annoyance is a small price to pay for that. Very first thing I would turn off, thank you Forscan.

Halfway up her back now ( about 8 inches) and 15 more hours of it predicted . Then the lake snow kicks in Monday afternoon. 10 below windchills again. We are in a don't travel if you don't have to state of emergency and several snowmobiles just went down the road. It's a winter wonderland.
