I just had to make a massive swerve to avoid some moron who ran a red light and almost destroyed me. I really need to get that Train Horn installed. My options were swerve and eat a construction barrel or let that idiot crunch me.

The barrel crumpled like a beer can. I was certain that I had jacked up the front end but all I got was a tiny plastic rub that will buff out.

Nor sure why you feel the need to swear and belittle others in your posts? Enough is enough as there are women on this forum along with some who have kids that read these posts together and it’s disrespectful. Besides it’s against forum rules which I’d suggest you’d read in full.

The admins and moderators may remove excessive profanity if it is deemed to significantly and negatively impact the enjoyability of the forum.

RESPONSE: Repeated disregard for this rule will lead to a PM sent to the poster, warning that if it continues, their posts will require the review and approval of the Moderators before posting.

I would be furious too, and I can guarantee I'd have said what you did and probably more...when it happened...but not here.

One of the things that sets this forum apart from others is our collective desire to be family friendly for the most part. We keep in mind there are ladies present as well as the grumpy old men like myself...but even us curmudgeons have limits.

Please choose your language more carefully as you go forward.

Really hoping that smudge buffs out for you!

Unless you bash a ranger, then all members have the right to call you any name they wish. Trust me I've seen it with no moderator interference.

totally bad ass, even though most of us are out of spec for Fords design by having a higher center of gravity, tires and other Mods, tonight a snow storm rolled through my part of Upstate NY, not a plow truck in sight, no sand or salt either WTF was NY state trying to save money?
well there was 4 or 5 inches of snow on the interstate cars all over so I flipped on 4x4 on the fly it was solid as any truck I have ever had, just to test I even tried to break it lose coming off the exit, nope better luck next time.
one thing my bumper must have caked up from ice and snow and my heads up display went mad LOL camera warnings, pre-collision and others etc, its all crap we lived without in the past, so I was thinking if I had a lot of snow and ice on me, I weighed more, Cool!

Nice, yes the snow on the sensors sets off all the alarms. An ice storm or freezing fog will do the same.

Yeah, those sensors are a PITA in the winter, especially since they come with that real shrill alarm that makes my ears bleed, and there's no convenient way to turn that off or lower the volume. Damn things go off every time I stop at a light. Anyone else have that problem?

Glad to see those cones stand no chance!

I've had the lower ACC sensor get covered in ice and stop working. Nothing specifically at a stop sign, but i haven't driven a lot while its snowing/sleeting.

The parking sensors can be turned off with the button on the console.

Which button? I've seen where I can allegedly turn off the driver's assist stuff (but it doesn't seem to actually turn anything off) in my Lariat console, but I don't recall seeing a physical button to turn anything off unless I've completely missed it.

The button in the bottom center with the P turns off the sensors.
