Cool Promo !

I'm probably the wrong person for this contest since I already have the Wolfbox G900 Tri-Pro Bumper Version Extended Pack... If I were to win it,,, I would probably pass it on to another member.

But,,, I'm loving the device so far. The installation isn't complete. I need an installer to get the camera wires past the firewall. Then I'll be making videos with it at the off-road park.

This truck is the 1st vehicle I've ever named. Except for my 1st car which was named Cristine after the Stephen King book. It damn near killed me a bunch of times.

But this truck is named, "Wally" which is short, "Wallet" for obvious reasons.

I call this one Money Pit 2

For obvious reasons they’re an endless money pit with mods and cool stuff on R5G to buy. While I haven’t done as many mods to this Ranger as my first one (the original Money Pit) I’ve done a few small ones but a dash would surely come in handy with all the crazy drivers around here. I’d hate to see MP2 end up like MP1.

The original Money Pit after an accident in my neighborhood. The driver lied about the whole accident and a dash cam would’ve prevented a whole lot of headaches that I went through proving it was their fault.

Roxanne (Rocks + Sand) - She got her name from its Northwestern Arizona home, which just so happens to be full of rocks and sand. Bought this truck last year after being plagued with turbo and reliability issues on my previous vehicle and simultaneously wanting a more capable vehicle for exploring the Western states' rugged outdoors.

This year for Christmas, we drove down to Lake Havasu City and got Roxy a roof top tent!

I don't have a name for my truck, and don't have enough cool mods for the popular vote. Very cool thing for you to do though.

That said, I'm going old school Chicago, IYKYK, and putting my vote up for sale...

I call my truck ā€œTrue Northā€ and I chose the name because it’s part of our national anthem.

Canada is a northern country that embodies truth. I’m a very proud Canadian and proud to be part of a country that is guided by such solid, strong principles; one with a moral compass that has found its ā€œTrue Northā€.

I’m sure many people reading this have heard the line from O Canada, ā€œThe true north, strong and freeā€. And that’s what my Ranger is all about…

Strong - it’s tough as nails and modified to show just that..
Free - it gives me the freedom to go anywhere I want.

I think all the Rangers on the forum are special and I’m not sure my truck is all that unique. If anything makes it stand out, it’s the SuperCab configuration that makes it great for work and play.

For Christmas, True North is going to get that brake job I’ve been putting off and definitely some time at the coin-op car wash, followed by a full detail back home in the heated garage. Christmas photo to follow.

Happy Holidays and awesome idea for a promo! Im enjoying meeting all the rigs and hearing a bit of the backstory on ones ive seeen around the forums.

I call my truck Stranger, partly cause we had a big dialed in sportsmobile van prior to owning the Ranger. Downsizing the rig by returning to a midsize truck and ground tents was all new to us again, thus 'Stranger'. The vehicle choice much better fit our family and 'Stranger' has been taking our family of 4 (Me wife daughter and dog) on some truly awesome and sometimes very strange adventures. Our last "strange" adventure was crossing a dry lake bed at night in Baja that turned out to be not so dry , we finally made it to dry land and traction and when I pulled off to cool the nerves and asses the condition of the truck a horse just walked up as if to check in on us or welcome us 🐓. Thats the other meaning of the name :) its just as capable commuting in LA traffic between work and kindergarten drop offs as it is off-roading in Baja and across the sierras. Stranger is slowly changing and evolving with our needs but we are really happy with the current state. Love all the inspo, support and info ive found here on this forum and hoping to get a wolfbox one way or another. I could really use the view when our bed is loaded up for a camp trip and checking clearances when wheeling ⚠. We are far from strangers now, but its fun to think of our journey past, present and future.

Heres some pics and vids showing off Stranger and the fam :) hope you enjoy and don't forget to like :thumbsup::thumbsup:.

Max because when we first saw "Tangled", after getting "introduced" to the horse, Maximus, my wife turned to me and dead-panned "I didn't know you did character development acting." Apparently, Maximus and I have very similar personalities. Ever since then, and forever more it seems, my vehicle's are "Max".

Nickname is DID, for Disposable Income Detector.

It has the uncanny ability to notice if I have any unallocated funds in my wallet and then proceed to extract them with greased efficiency.

For Christmas it is getting a boost to 285/70/17 tires and for springtime it will get all the other accessories I have collected for it installed.
