What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Didn’t use my Ranger but I would have if I could get it in the backyard. However, the Ranger’s stores of recovery and tie down gear came in handy when it came to moving my hot tub. The previous homeowner had it on a platform, tucked into a corner of the landscaping. Of course, the access panel to the pumps, spa pack (control board), heater, etc. were behind one of two panels that were tight against landscaping ties that were 3/4 as high as the side of the tub. The breaker kept tripping and that meant I had to get in there and see why. Had to drain and move the tub - 800-900 lbs dry.

Some twit pulled out of the gas station and decided to do an illegal U-turn right in front of me. It's a damn good thing that I have good reflexes and fresh brakes, because I had to stand on them to avoid T-boning this idiot.

At least she looked suitably apologetic and embarrassed at her stupidity, as well she should, since a lesser driver would have plowed into her driver's seat.

I drive every day with the thought that some &$#@&+- is going to run into me today.

I can’t say enough good stuff about this truck. Other than four Honda Accords years ago, this is the most trouble free vehicle I have ever owned. She’s getting ready to turn 148,000 miles in less than five years and not even the first issue to this point.

I sure hope so. I had a guy in a Ranger company vehicle pull in at the next gas pump one day. It was making a rattle noise like the AC compressor was going out or something. I asked him about the noise and he said the truck has over 300,000 miles and just won’t quit.
