So exactly how do the window modules work? Can I lock out passenger use and still use the driver side to control them? Specifically the rear windows, I have to unlock to roll up and down. If I forget to relock them then my dog will step on rear door button and it rolls down. I can’t control the rear windows in lock mode from the driver door switches.

????Well Ranger (Sports) Fans, it's the bottom of the 9th and I have everything hooked up and working as per this threads instructions BUT unfold on Unlock. Other than anxiety because I am a mechanic with some electrical skills and this is a BRAND NEW VEHICLE(!) everything so far went as advertised EXECPT the Grey/Brown Wire on my truck could be mistaken for Grey/Black, this caused about 10 minutes of apprehension but I remembered I am a man and men get it done (read that as I called upon my balls to kick in). I'm taking a small break to get out of the heat and hydrate so I will update Y'all shortly.
I think that is going to depend on the year, exact trim (300, 301, 302) and options. Some of the older XLTs had power folding. I know on my 2021 XLT (301) with tech package I had to add the switch, wiring to cabin harness and added wiring to both door harnesses. I hear some say you can just buy the Lariat door harnesses so you don't need to run those wires. Seams to be about the same work to me.

It all depends on if Ford left the necessary wiring intact on the harness.
Since there are varied options (it's like a box of chocolates) of what wiring you have on the harness as well as how the connector is pinned (If you even have the connector)
So, for full function mirrors this is the wiring diagram, if only wanting to add the Power Fold, it's just the switch and 2 wires to each door harness (add new door harness each side) or fish new wires through the door to the new mirrors.
So simple wire runs unless you want to add terminals to the OE Connectors C204 / C210 / C212
