Listen to @Chris M . He knows of what he speaks. He hasn’t posted any pictures of himself on here but in case you didn’t know, this is what he looks like…

@DukeCanBuildit, you and @Chris M you both referenced Claude Akins in my build which ties in with the life on the that me and the OTR Ranger lives. The trucking thing....gets in your blood. Hard to not identify with it even after being out of it for a very long time.
Lol...Claude Akins...super tv trucker!
From what I saw in the forecast, we have chances for rain all the way through to Monday. And what I have always heard ever since I was a kid.
If you don't like the weather in Texas, give it 5 minutes, it'll change. Lol
Well, kept truck in garage but did get 2" of the white stuff. Too damn early in the season for this.

Be careful Steve 'cuz Duke now knows where you live, when you post and even the dates from 6 years ago!Memories are short. The second thread you ever started on the forum was about an Oct. 4, 2019 snowfall. Snow is right on time.
And several posts of pics of unholy amounts of snow from your security cam soon followed.![]()

We just drove through Northern TX on I-40 and man was the wind whipping!! I'm talking 50 mph winds with higher gusts that were blowing my truck (and the rigs) all over and it was cold for TX.Well ya'll, it's about to get a little colder here in North Texas. Forecast is showing daytime temperatures in the 60s and 70s and nighttime temperatures in the 40s and 50s.
Which is why in the recent picture of the truck that I posted it's backed up in front of the house with the drivers side facing the South.
Everyone take care!
Dave, I just backed up in front of the house no more than a couple of minutes ago. After driving through the cross wind on Highway 82 East and the farm market roads heading toward the house. We just drove through Northern TX on I-40 and man was the wind whipping!!
