The 3.5 is a beast of a motor for sure. I'm glad for the Hybrid though, keeps me in Ranger territory gas mileage wise.....and it is quick as hell.

The 3.5 is a beast for sure. The mpg isn't that far off the Ranger actually. Average 20 or sometimes better with the 3.5. Towing my camper was 14 compared to 10. Average with the Ranger was close to 21 most of the time. Sometimes up to 23. I drive one at work daily and average 19 mpg mixed driving. I probably push it a bit more than mine. :)

Here's my back and forth to work (14 miles, all paved country roads and some in-town)

Math works out to 27.6 mpg.
