So what you are normalizing is out of control behavior. Just to make sure that I understand this I should be able to put up with people that have no manners? Since when did I become the shit magnet? I did put up with mens dumb behavior and because of that I am getting an extra substanial income. Unless you guys want to compensate me then I don't have to put up with anything. What kind of time frame are you looking at?
Is a new engine easily found, or will they have your truck for several weeks?

Back to the topic of engine swap.
What kind of time frame are you looking at?
Is a new engine easily found, or will they have your truck for several weeks?

I need to contact the dealership for the time frame, and the service advisor stated that the new engine was already ordered.

It was very frustating that the test was not run and happy to report that I am getting a new engine with 0 miles on it.
I think that I am going to leave this forum for a while. It seems that there are plenty of men offering the mansplaning version of life to me. After 20 years in the military I have had enough .... Hope everything goes well.

EVERYONE in the Military puts up with a boatload of crap! I've seen it from males and females, from Officers, and Enlisted. I think you're a little out of line there. A large number of us are vets, and we paid our dues. And the military in the 60's and 70's was far tougher than what's been going on for the last 20 years. We didn't get "time out cards" in Basic Training or OTS. You really need to get over yourself and stop quilting people.

I think this has gotten a little out of hand. Let's at least be kind to each other.
