I have always done my dogs' nails myself. I expose them to the process little by little, always ending with a treat. Our newest dog now gets the clipper and finish with the nail grinder to make them nice and smooth. She absolutely hated it at first kicking and squirming, but is so good about it now at 11 months of being with us. Takes about 5 minutes.

I don't know where my dog is, by my resident raccoon is safely ensconced in a feeder I built for Crows, Bluejays, Bluebirds, and Woodpeckers. A storm line just crossed our area, and that rascal never moved from his 8' high perch! It is a big feeder and it stays dry. He's been chowing down now for 45 minutes during a major downpour with high winds. It's rocking a bit, but he doesn't seem to mind at all!

we cant even watch a show peacefully without these two wanting to rough house and play... but they at least have the curtesy to not play on top of the gf oh no they use me for that...

I need a shorter or taller dog .... =D

I had NH Oil done to Soupie a few weeks back and I like it, but it does drip and ... I went to the dump last week with Kota and let him out to mingle and maintain his status as Junkyard Dog and mine as The Dump King.

Anyway, I tie him to the tailgate and he wanted to get out of the sun. So, as he often does, he went under the truck. Well crud! He's the perfect height to walk under there and got oil all over his white fur! Bah! =(

No pics as this was a mess and I didn't have much in the way to wipe him down.
