It is also in the back of the motor, requiring you to remove the transmission to replace it, assuming you don't burn up said motor.I'm not sure why manufactures would chose a rubber belt instead of a chain. The GM baby max has a belt driven oil pump too. Doesn't take much to burn up an engine when it has no oil pressure.
Or an old school circa 2005 or older vehicle and put the $$ in it to insure reliability. I assure you that it will cost much less than a new vehicle of most any kind.Just get yourself a bicycle or some medication to help with your manufactured anxiety.
A blast from the future past, a 20054 model year vehicle? WTF?Or an old school circa 20054 or older vehicle and put the $$ in it to insure reliability. I assure you that it will cost much less than a new vehicle of most any kind.

I kept my old 2005 Ranger for just that reason... and I did precisely that. I now have 1 vehicle that I completely trust. My wife is urging em to find the oldie model car of my choice and do the same to it, and get rid of the new "advanced" auto that are designed to be disposable.
