GFB Turbocharger Blow Off Valve (DV+) for Ranger vs Turbosmart?

Out of curiosity what was the $/per gal of fuel used?
Because California right now in the SF Bay Area is still north of $5 for 91…
So for me even 1 mpg better makes the ROI even more..

(These prices are for 87 add .15 for 89 and roughly .25-.35 for 91.)
Oh nice gas is down about 10 cents since I got gas on Sunday.

The math was for $4.05/gallon (91 in Vegas). This week it went up to like $4.30 or so, maybe switched to summer blend. Man, Utah prices make me jealous when we travel there. We were there two weeks ago and it was something like $3.60 for 91.

I assume at best 1mpg but maybe more if the factory BOV is bleeding off pressure, which I suppose can be the case on a vehicle a few years old.

Its like how a certain brand of spark plug can claim 5% mpg increase. Then in fine print states on vehicles with more than 100k on factory plugs lol. They are not wrong but they are. The oem bov could be a weak spot over time.

THANK YOU!!!!!!! ? ??. No, you said that with awesome intentions and I am now a little mortified, wondering just how many times I did that because I know it’s a lot!

I would say that not only were you certainly not an ass, but instead, being compassionate! Perfectly executed constructive feedback! You could give a seminar on how to strike the perfect tone and keep it light!

Now this is a joke but: damn everyone else who noticed and didn’t say anything??

For me, the only thing worse than getting it wrong is CONTINUE to do it! and do it over and over!

I hope everybody will correct me if I systematically do something like that; help me from being a flat out fool, and instead just being the fool I am, but hopefully more on a one off basis!

? I knew this was a great group of people! I love the cartoon and just everything in general now that it’s turned into a witty, but good humor thread!

It’s actually pretty impressive because that was absolutely a complete 180 from where we were at one point.

The damper controversy goes way back to early days on this forum. You were either pro or anti damper and DeeZee came out with one. I was agnostic but won one from @AzScorpion during an early on giveaway and am happy with it. It is SLOW during our cold winter here though.
