60k miles , at 60 mph, 24.5 mpg. My average is 20.5 mpg. In winter could go as low as 15 mpg per tank. Doing 70/75, I get about 19 mpg.

This summer I was getting 24 mpg (measured by me), but now that I have winter tires on (and winter blend fuel) the mileage meter says 22.5. I'm burning 89 octane ethanol blend mostly.
I'll do a real mileage check after I fill up the truck on Sunday (local station has an 89 for the price of 87 Sunday special).

This was the worst mpg I have ever got in either of my Rangers. We had a really cold spell for 3 weeks and I'm use to having my Ranger in AZ which (obviously) was a much warmer climate. This just shows how cold weather, short trips and idling can/will affect your mpg. :frown:

I hope to find where Ford/EPA found 24mpg highway in the summer. Best I've seen is 21 doing sub 70mph. Averaging 19 no matter what I do.. or so says the computer. (am stock)

My lifetime average includes towing and winter tires 4 months of the year is 22.2 after 57k miles.
Have an AWE exhaust and a CAI.
When I can do a tank on less than 60 mph I can achieve 26.

Seeings how I bought my ‘20 Ranger used (Dec ‘24) with a level spacer and a heavy wheel/tire combo I started with getting 13 mpg (calculated) local driving with hills around.
I put lighter wheels on saving 15lbs per wheel which I think helped. …Now 15 mpg locally.
16 on the highway where 70 mph is the norm.

This is now with an un-aerodynamic front bumper & 32.6” tires.

17.5-19 in city. Average 25.5 average on long freeway/highway. I have noticed better gas mileage using super unleaded. 2022 XLT crew cab stock with tonneau cover.
