This note was attached to my gate yesterday. The title looked like an important notice from a Hi-Tech engineering firm... ? Read on and it was an advertisement for curb painting... Going with it because my curb numbers are trashed out...

They did this every year in AZ too. Most would choose either a Saguaro or the D-Backs logo next to their number. I never did it because every house there has a plaque on your garage with your address number on it and never saw the need for it but it is a good idea if an area doesn't have this.

In a lot of places here, they have a small reflective blue sign with reflective white numbers mounted on a metal stake (like a snow fence stake) that is driven into the ground in the utility right of way. It’s voluntary and only with your consent but so easy for emergency responders to find your place. UberEats, too.

I’ve already arranged for one at your new place. It will come in handy when @Blue Streak and I have you SWAT’d after you and Annie move in. ? You’ve ordered it, right Larry?

What's strange is ours were black letters and you'd think with the sun beating on them (mine were facing south) all day they'd have faded quickly. After 17 years they still looked new.

Not my house but this is where every house has them on the garage.

Our community was converted to group boxes about ten years ago so no more numbers on individual boxes. Thieves can get more stuff now by breaking into them...
