Got some fancy new Cooper Road & Trail tires at @Discount Tire Went up a size to 265/65/18 and bought a cheap rim to stick the Hankook on as a spare. Tread was still pretty good at 37k. Great service as always. Tires look badass but I expect a MPG hit, hopefully not much. Just in time for a wet Oregon winter!

Throws no codes, but I've only idled it as per instructions for breaking in the cat. The bolts weren't easy unless you have a flex head 15mm.

Well now I have new wrenches, thanks Harbor Freight.

I swear I misplaced the defoulers so I grabbed one from O'Reilly's (Dorman #42002).

Edit: sounds about the same, no codes. Chirped the tires in 2nd gear going up a hill, but I do have my 235 winter tires on....makes me wanna replace the muffler with a cheap unit, don't wanna rice it out ?

that one is only accurate to 33ft, the one I implanted is good to 3 ft. . . when I activate those space lasers I need that granular of accuracy . . .

It was a bit scary, I throttled down to pass a lady on 104th near sheridan and the entire truck started to rock. I was like oh shit, is this how the trans feels when it really grenades itself. . . ?

as a follow up to this -

cylinder 1 & 2 - I pulled the plugs just to take a peak the boots were rust colored so I took a gander down the plug hole and both were filled with water and debris . . . absorbed the water with paper towels and blew them out with compressed air. . .

new plugs arrive tomorrow . . .
