Check Carvana for an estimate, you might need a plate number or a VIN number.

The two protection plans are 1400.00 why do you need them? 199.00 for the tinted windows is in line. Tell them to take 1400.00 off on those plans and another 1100.00 for trade that gives you 2500.00 off the trade difference and less sales tax to pay. If they won't do it, then leave dealers have an overabundance now of new stock. Your leaving money on the table takin g those two fluff plans for 1400.00

First thing I would do is negotiate on the dealer fee, get it waived or get them to split it with you.

I went to the dealer that has the vehicle. Gota drive 180 miles to get the truck. The dent, scratch and tint crap is off. also got another $300 off. So I am good with that. Going to pick it up in a couple of days. There werent many Rangers around in the 2 colors I like.

The single biggest negotiating tactic is them knowing you are willing to walk away. I've only purchased 2 vehicles in my life that I did not tell them to let me go home and think about it.

The local dealer was full of you know what. Kept me there for almost an hour and then came back with a 4x4 truck. Not what I wanted. Got pissed. Got loud then a manger came out and he was also full of XXXX. The truck was at another dealer of there brand. What gets me is I am in a dealer with 40 sales cubes and probably 20 guys surfing the net. +8 people in there eCommerce room. No buyer in there but me. I cant understand how these people stay in business. In all my years of purchasing vehicles its always the same BS. Now I gota pick a bed cover. Had a RollNLock didn't like the loss of the bed under the front otherwise a great cover. Looking at a fold up.

I have the gator soft folding cover. It's easy to take off with hand-tightened clamps at the front.

Not sure it's the same for the 24s but can't see why it wouldn't be.

I like the tri-fold hard cover, 2 thumb screws at the front to remove it, rails stay in place while it's off. But normally I can just open it all the way and prop it open with the 2 prop rods and not need to remove it, unless I'm using my bed tent, I gets removed and strapped to the roof rack then. Anyway, the hard trifold covers are worth looking into. I think replacing the rubber seals every so many years will be cheaper than replacing the vinyl cover ever so many years, but a little more work. but I can also set stuff on the cover while it's closed without too much concern.

You might want to consider a hard rolling cover. No loss of bed space and no need to remove it or block the rear window. Here is the one I had on the Maverick I just traded in for a 2020 Ranger.

It's a Truxedo Sentry. Cost when I bought it in 2022 was $929, but it's jumped since then. I'm not sure how it compares to the hard folding covers but they used to be about the same money.

You traded a Maverick on a Ranger? Did you need more capacity or didn't like Maverick.
