Installed the Mishimoto charge pipes today, along with a vent to atmosphere BOV. When I installed the recirc BOV, I bought new bolts. It turns out they were too long, and I was getting a boost leak. That's been fixed with the vent BOV and the truck is driving great. Hard to say if the boost leak or the charge pipes are what improved, or both, but its excellent. The OE charge pipe is a huge restriction, so... this can't hurt.

I work from home and haven't been driving my truck; it's been very neglected. It's been parked under some palm trees near the carriage lights on my garage, and as a result it was covered in dead bugs, bird poop, and junk from the trees. The roof and hood were also growing mildew.
You really need to drive it more. If it's growing mildew, next it will start putting down roots. ?

Cleaned out my catch can. Not to ignite the "should or shouldn't" have one, but here's a visual of the frothy mess that comes out after a little over a month. Yummy.

Cleaned out my catch can. Not to ignite the "should or shouldn't" have one, but here's a visual of the frothy mess that comes out after a little over a month. Yummy.

My Spring oil change I got oil/water mix to pour out, but my Fall oil change, it was dry. Using the Ford Performance oil/air separator.

I took apart half my front end to loosen, reseat and then tighten up my bumper again. It seamed to be hanging a touch lower on one side.

Did the whole project, what a pita, removed the little air dam thing behind it I'd cut to fit after installing the bumper (making room for the winch) and got it back together.

Still seems a touch uneven but it's probably just not cut/welded perfectly even. I had it sitting perfectly even and I measured it so but when I torqued everything to spec it shifted a touch.

What can you do, I'll have to live with the little neurotic demons laughing in my head ??

Got my mind off it by embarrassing my wife with the truck in sand mode with the locker on and a doughnut or two in Safeway lot ?

Continually amazed even with everything disabled how hard it is to break the wheels loose on this truck. She stable and grippy ?

Good to see i am not the only one that has nanny problems on this truck

Since Ford cheeped out and eliminated the Owners Manual folder, we had plenty of extra old VW ones here at work so I improvised. Now I can keep it nice and neat in my truck, instead of "somewhere" in the house lol. :like:

I ordered a Ford Performance case one like my RS came with, with as many parts from Ford Performance as I've installed on the Ranger, it felt justified to have the manual in that case. I guess I should get a picture of that.

Did VW ever release their rebadged version, Amarok, of the Ranger in Europe?

I ordered a Ford Performance case one like my RS came with, with as many parts from Ford Performance as I've installed on the Ranger, it felt justified to have the manual in that case. I guess I should get a picture of that.
Not that I've seen yet, they're too busy making a big deal about the I.D. Buzz right now :rolleyes:.

Nice job, but what's this manual you speak of? o_O

I have to admit I've never once read any owners manual from my cars, trucks, motorcycles or snowmobiles. :oops: I have glanced at the maintenance section but other than that I've never looked at one. Especially when forums became more common it was easier (for me) to go there and find any answers I might of needed. Then YouTube became the go to because everyone now makes a video for just about everything from vehicles to coffee makers. lol

I will admit (even as a kid) I was never big into reading books and can only think of a couple I've read in my lifetime. I loose interest easily and fall asleep! I've always been a hands on and try and figure it out type.
