I installed my 'The Wiz' last night. It was a giant pain in the toocas. But... its awesome. It takes the audio signal from my HAM radio and directs it to the driver front (DF) speaker. When signal is received, the Wiz mutes audio from the DF speaker, plays the comms audio, then resumes music after a ~2 second delay. The HAM is under the passenger's seat and was incredibly hard to hear the internal speaker. This plays in the door speaker and is really, really loud (volume controlled via the face plate on the HAM radio, independently of the radio). For anyone who uses their comms a lot, I *HIGHLY* recommend this. And it was ~$50.

I've noticed less jerking and hesitation - not a lot, and maybe psychological, but it seems a tiny bit smoother in some circumstances (like letting off the gas and stomping on it right after).

Mine's not the "look at me hissing, do I have a flat" version but I think it affects the same thing.

With mine, when I hear a Wooooosh, I have to figure out, (at my age) if it was the valve or me "woooooshing".....

Installed a GoFast VTA Blow Off Valve I got from another member. Haven't done any other engine mod's but the price was too good to pass up.
If you look verrrrrry closely you can just see the additional HP just oozing from the installed mod !!!
Strange thing tho, it seems to work. I have always experienced a bit of "lag" when making a sharp right turn....just a momentary power drop.... from a stopped position....like slowly turning from a stop sign or red light while applying gas. Once thru turn Truck always came right back.
Now, while making the same turn, no lag....power stright thru the turn....
Yea !!!
(Also makes a neat "woooooshing" sound)

I did the mid-bed tie down undelete mod this week. Not worth pictures but I'll say it makes securing things near the tailgate easier.

Also, if you have a spray-in bedliner added to your truck, make sure they block the entire bolt hole. I'm guessing my place used a golf tee or rolled up masking tape. The threads were clear but the liner covered the opening enough the bolts wouldn't bite.

New tires. Wildpeak AT4. Upgraded from AT3. I had uneven wear from aggressive cornering and my back tires were completely bald (like a baby’s butt) from too much fun. Going off-roading this weekend! Should have taken a picture of my completely 0 tread back tires but forgot.

Vacuumed, washed and polished it today, for the first time since I was laid up earlier this year. It's storm season here now and I noticed that it was getting pretty dirty and water no longer beaded up. Also looks like the weep from the front transfer case seal has taken up again now I'm daily driving again. I topped it up a few weeks ago, and noticed no more drips on the concrete so I de-greased it today, and we will see.

Installed new front brakes today. Napa Premium. The Ford OE lasted less than 46k kms or 28k miles.

Also added winter tires and rims. Looks like a work truck now. :)

I'm so glad I live in a place where I don't have to keep two sets of tyres, and my trucks usually wear out before they rust out!
