Missing Cargo bed tie downs arrived

Rec'd call from Ford dealer my 2 missing tie downs are in. Finally. They must be shipping now for all.

Was it hard for you to get them to order or were they willing to do it since everything states 6 tie downs?

Initially a pain but I came loaded with info and brochure.

I had the same issue and they just robbed two out of another truck. I would think any dealer would pay for them just to keep the customer happy = they are not that expensive.

I'm having challenges getting my missing two tie downs as well. Dealer said to bring in a star driver and he'll just get one a set off another truck. Parts department couldn't find it on the computer.

They should come with 6. Two in the front,middle and rear.

I think they were running low and started installing only 4. I think they're only like $9.00 but I'd see if you're dealer can get you the other 2.

There was thread on the missing the downs. It seems Ford decided to make a running change and not include all 6. Even a tsb if I recall correctly.

I had 4...in the corners only. Mine worked out ok because I installed two swing cases that covered the 2 at the tailgate end of the bed which rendered them useless. I moved those to the middle. Problem solved.

Those Swing Boxes are awesome! I have only one but considering another if I get more gear to haul!

Thanks. I really like the swing cases. I used to carry bins in the bed for my stuff. These completely eliminate that need PLUS they are lockable and slide right off the pivot pin and easily come out.

Does anyone know if these swing cases can be used with a bed extender and/or an Extang Solid Fold 2.0 cover? I'm kind of thinking the boxes might interfere with the latch on the Solid Fold.
