Whelp.. finally got the Wuhan flu so probably chicken noodle soup ?.

Not a bad run though.. 4 years later.. evil unvaxx'd habitual nail biter who doesn't wash their hands enough lol
12mg of ivermectin (depending on weight - 150lbs), with 25 mg zinc, and 5K units of Vit D daily for 5 days will cure you. Symptoms will largely disappear over night. You will feel normal within 24 hours but keep taking it all for 5 days.

My sister and my cousin both just recently came down with it at the same time. Both in terrible shape.

Cousin refused to take the ivermectin. My sister decided to trust me and took it. 24 hours later she was feeling fine, 103F fever broke during the night (in less than 12 hours), and she was was back at work the next day. By the end of the second day she was normal. I told her to continue the meds for 5 days total.

8 days later my cousin was still sick.

Ivermectin is sold OTC everywhere in the world except in western countries. It is safer than a baby aspirin. Yet you need a prescription to get it. It is curious to me, as Advil, Tylenol and even aspirin are very easy to purchase, and very easy to over dose on with life threatening results.

I had a dear friend die from kidney failure due to taking too much advil for back pain. His kidneys ahut down completely. Went on dialysis and was dead in 6 months. You can easily bleed out by taking too much aspirin... and too much tylenol will quickly destroy your liver... but all three of these "safe" drugs and can be purchased OTC.

I have farmer friends who have taken it for years. They use it on all their life stock and pets. And when they get a viral infection they break it out and take it immediately. The drug won a Nobel Prize for the discovery. And not one person has ever died from taking it.

It is a strange world we live in....

Both my wife and I refused the shots, and took Ivermectin at the first sign of a sniffle. Weathered it just fine. Even now it is in our medicine bag. We never catch colds or the flu.

Another nice med to have is Xlear Nose spray with Xylitol (OTC). It kills the virus in the nasal /sinus passages on contact. This has been proven. Covid is not going away - ever. Stock your medicine cabinet before you get sick. At the first sign of lllness start the protocol.

It is funny, that my wife see me getting ill before I notice it... and I see her becoming sick before she notices it.

So we alert each other! I am blessed with a wonderful wife!

Taco Tuesday!

Classy stuff, made with some queso and salsa in the meat - we tried ground chicken tonight instead of ground beef. And it was pretty good, and I suppose, slightly healthier (don't pay attention to the half bottle of queso).

Some simple homemade guac - just avo, salt. and lime juice. =)

I don't always eat tacos, but when I do, I prefer them crunchy, not crushed.

We had taco(salad).
Nothing nearly as pretty as @subquark but good nonetheless.
It is Tuesday, after all...

Dang, that's a clever idea, certainly a bit healthier since I'd actually put more lettuce in as food rather than just a color! I never thought about it for doing at home (I can be rather slow in this kind of thinking). =D

When you make it as a taco salad, do you put some tortilla chips in it? I assume, that like me, an actual taco bowl thing would not be readily available.

Yep.
We crumble up to tortilla chips in the bottom of the bowl.

In all candor, we do the taco salad thing because eating tacos in the hard shells is a lot of work and we end up using a fork to clean up the mess, so we figure to just start where we know we're gonna end up anyways.

It's always serious business when we go to put the feed bag on.

We make them from both flour and corn tortillas with our as seen on TV bowl makers. 3 to 4 minutes in the oven and perfect taco salad bowls.

Annie makes homemade tortillas (when she has the time) and we make our tacos with those. There's nothing like warm homemade tortillas that don't shatter all over the place while eating them.

Now when we go out to eat I'll get the hard shells because I'm spoiled with her homemade soft tortillas. Also most of the boxed ones you buy are made with cheap ingredients and will fall apart. If you go to a good Mexican restaurant it's rare you'll have this problem.

What the?!?

That's clever (I wonder if a cake pan would work - but I guess the ruffles would be tough).

Great, it's bad enough that I buy stuff for Soupie, but now encroaching into the soup kitchen too!

This ain't right - I wanna talk to your manager! Oh ... that would be @AzScorpion ... crud, just open my wallet, it's so numb I won't even know ...

Darn it, too easy to find! =D

non-stick? I bet that means using graphene ... =p

20 years ago I only paid $10.99 ?. You can usually find things like this at goodwill stores for a buck now. Don't use cold corn tortillas because they crack, room temperature is usually safe.

We have the cast iron press and sometimes grind our own Wapsie corn and flour to make them fresh also. Just too big a mess for a couple so we don't do it often.
