When sitting still then lightly accelerate to get going it sort of has a flat spot, and it sort of bucks right off idle, sort off feels like an inexperienced driver is jabbing at the gas pedal. It never revs high when bucking, just off idle. This is somewhat new thing, last month or so, now at 65,000 miles. Any ideas? Thanks

The following thread has your answer. Simple cheap fix. Check the last few pages.

The posters link to replace the egr sensor fixed my bucking transmission that showed up after the fluid and filter was replaced. I replaced the sensor and it has been the smoothest shifting trans since and that was done almost three months ago. This is what I would do first before anything else plus if I recall correctly, this part being faulty has a habit of taking out the head gasket but I may have misread that from somewhere.

DPFE sensor. Rock auto has them for for like 20 bucks with a 36 month warranty. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog...sion,egr+pressure+feedback+(dpfe)+sensor,5088

Yes but only if it sees a major flow difference than what it should be reading.
The problem is that the symptoms show before it codes (if it even codes)
The code would be P139C

Mine did that, like loose motion in drive shaft. 45,000 miles. Tech checked drive shaft support bearing in 2 piece drive shaft. Bad. Replaced under 5/50,000 mile power trai. Warranty. Good now, but still a bit noticeable loose motion.
