New member and truck intro!

Hey all,

After lurking these forums for the last year, I figured it's time to make an account and introduce myself. I'm a Canadian ranger owner with a '23 XLT FX4. Really stoked to be a part of the community finally!

So far I've primarily done aesthetic mods (list below), but hoping to get some others rolling soon.

List of mods and accessories
- Strands Dark Knight Identity 20" LED Light Bar
- Auxito LED Fog Lights (with Bambi mode enabled)
- Black front valence
- Raptor style grille with amber running lights
- 2" level from Zone off-road
- U-guard side steps
- Tailgate dampener
- Thule Xsporter Pro ladder rack
- Tailgate letter inserts

Happy to chat and would love some feedback as to how to improve my ride

Thank you! My only issue is that it has ruined the cable on that side for my tailgate by pinching and damaging it. oh well, just a visual thing!

Beautiful truck and nice color choice. I would also enable cornering mode on the fog lights. Really helps on dark corners.

Sweet looking setup you got. Blue is a very cool color.
For the tailgate damper pinch, folks are putting a little thing on the cable to prevent it from bearing down hard on it. I just pushed the tailgate as far to the passenger side as I could. (There’s a little play driver to passenger side ) gonna shift back over eventually, but not a big deal.

Ok I have to ask what's corning mode for the fog lights? I thought I went though the menu on both my Rangers pretty thorough and never recall seeing this.

It is a setting to change in Forscan not sure of the module it’s in, but listed on the Sticky Thread. Very nice feature turns fog light on when using signal or turning steering wheel.

Also, for the cable pinch, I found that it would get hung up on the hinge bracket.

I thought it might be a Forscan setting that's why I didn't see it anywhere in the menu. I've always been to nervous digging into it (Forscan) and I know you back up everything but Murphy's law says I'm the one who fries something. lol Thanks!
