Did your diff not come with a drain port? Or do you need to remove the cover to install the plate?

No drain holes from 21+ model years. It is possible to install the skid plate without removing the diff cover.

It’s just the photo. I inspected the gears after cleaning, gears were in great shape. Even the old fluid looked surprisingly clean!!
I reused the gasket.

That is great news to hear, I have not changed my fluid yet maybe in another 10,000 miles.
