Installed the dashcam. Looking for a more permanent hard-wire install instead of using the car charger.

Anyone got suggestions for hardwired insrall? Fusetap/add a fuse, ect. The cam uses USB-C.

Been looking at dash cams myself. Not sure if you have the Tremor model? I have the Tremor model....was thinking/wondering if the cams could be hard wired into the aux switch fuse box!??

I used the Dongar adapter to wire my dash cam to the auto dimming mirror. Installation was quick and easy.

Finally got around to putting some ditch lights on today. These are the Lasfit 3” LED pods.

You do know that you flag decal is on backwards right? The field needs to be towards the front of the truck not the back. Otherwise a nice looking truck. Fly it proud, fly it right!

That is correct, flag should always be flying like your moving forward.

I used this:

It made for a nice, clean install, and I can use the switch on it to either let it run continuously or shut it off after the ignition has been off for 5 minutes.

It's so damn easy to use - just plug it in and go. I fuse-tapped my wife's Ford Escape for the camera before we traded it for the Bronco Sport. I could never find the right circuit to run the camera in parking mode. And when I pulled the camera wiring/fuse-tap to put it back to stock for the 3.5 hour drive to the dealership to trade the Escape on the Bronco Sport, the radio/nav started having a mind of its own!

When we got her Bronco Sport home, I swapped the fuse-tap wiring for the OBD II setup and it's been awesome! Literally, "plug n' play."
