To all,
First and foremost, regarding my decision on canceling my new Ranger order, thank you for all the inputs. It wasn't a rash decision but I felt it was the right thing to do given my current life situation.
I did purchase a new Bronco Outerbanks version. It will suit me for traveling and daily driving. My dealership worked great with me. I got what I wanted and at the price I wanted...no dealer markup and 2.5k below MSRP. Also got the extended warranty and service plan at no charge.
As I make changes I'll post them here. I will still check the site frequently. You all over the years have been a great group. I wish other forums would be like this instead of the constant bashing of members wanting to make their vehicles better or just wanting to learn more about them.

One of my Buddies got a Sasquatch and his girl a something else. I swear they have together spent 30K on stuff for them. he has an F-150 so that solves the truck issue. Glad you're happy, that's all that matters in life.

Murphy's Law strikes again! I was looking through my emails and Ford decided to give a production date for the Lariat I ordered. Instead of, we have no idea when it will be built, they decided the beginning of Apr will be a good time. Lol
I am very happy though with my Bronco. It will suit my needs perfectly. I will stop by the dealership though when it comes in since it will a dealer inventory vehicle vs a special order.

I did the opposite. I ordered a Bronco and waited too damn long, I needed a vehicle having sold two of them. I looked over a Ranger and bought a loaded one off a dealer lot.
The big thing was price and capacity. I ordered a 2 Dr Badlands, 4cyl stick. My only options were trailer tow, and a door keypad. My price, $54k.
My Ranger, XLT 4x4, 302A, FX4, trailer tow, Tech package, Splash package, Cyber Orange paint came in at $41K.
In my business I frequently towed. Ranger 7500lbs, Bronco 3500lbs. Ford cancelled my trailer tow in the Bronco because of a lack of parts, and then cancelled the standard modular bumper in my package. It was now a cost option, and of course subject to supply constraints.

I finally said F**K the Bronco and went Ranger. The Ranger has been a great truck, tows like a beast, great fuel economy, and has a ton more options than the Bronco for less money, for me, no regrets. Oh, icing on the cake, 5 years finance, 0%…!

I purchased my Ranger while waiting for my Bronco . I traded the Ranger in when the Bronco arrived last May after 2 months shy of 3 years waiting. The Ranger was a great truck and I really liked it but the Bronco was what I wanted so I stuck with it. No regrets as it has been awesome also. I still visit here as they both share a common line with a lot of the same parts and potential issues.

This forum is a lot better than the main Bronco forum , I agree to that ,lol.

If it helps, my wife thinks the bronco sports are ugly. But she says the Broncos are cute?

I have to say, those 3 door broncos look so awesome.

How are they space wise compared to the ranger?

Well it has 2 less doors , seats and no bed compared to the Ranger . Other than that it has about the same room ,LOL

It's an absolute hoot to drive though . The 2.7 will light the 33's up :)

Not at all , it is very comfortable and more spacious than my old Jeep for sure. It actually has two seats in the back , just no doors. I've had a few people ride in the back and they all said it was comfortable with plenty of head/leg room. I'd say the front is comparable to the Ranger with more headroom actually .

I was tempted to go with a two door. I crawled in the back of one an once in it seemed to have plenty of room for me (5'8") but flipping the seats up an a front seat passenger having to get out to let people in an out was a deal killer for me. The nice thing was they were over 4 grand cheaper an came with the hard top, which is an $1,800 option on the 4 door.

We took the rear seats out of our 2 door and put in a Goose Gear floor.

Tons of room, especially or the pups!
