I have yet to watch the video, but I can already say that if the suspension kit is not meant for the Touring/Overlanding then chances are I can struggle with added load. Most lift kits from a bunch of companies just want to focus on how high you can lift a vehicle. If you only focus on that I will agree that payload and towing capacity will drop as that type of suspension will not maintain the original vehicle Dynamics.

big tires and a Lift, and I do not have any issues with handling, towing or a lot of weight in the bed (a lot more than it was designed for)

Are you talking about an actual lift or just a level? I ask because you show only the front and taking a look the truck simply looks leved

No offense intended but I find this statement more than a little scary. But, probably a very common attitude. I won't even go into the "a lot more than it was designed for" comment.

It probably should have been, I don't have any issues I know about. The bad part is, you don't find out about those issues until something bad happens or you have a catastrophic failure. Hopefully not at the same time.

Anytime you modify suspension loads or geometry, you are affecting the handling and other characteristics of the vehicle along with the loadings of various other components. This will place added stresses and wear in places that may not have been expected.

I would never do anything knowingly that was past its design limits, the one time I didnt know how much I had "in the bed" until I weighed in and out I had a little over 1100 Lbs in roller steel in the bed, it didnt take me down a full inch and it handled like it wasnt back there
I use it like a truck, I am in 4 WD at least 3 times a week so if something it weak, I will find that part and post pictures LOL but trust me I am not going to ruin my truck over $125 in short steel! let alone get someone killed.

I just buy off road trucks from the factory. 100% under warranty and can fold the cost into the loan.
Some people like to personalize their trucks That's why sites like this are popular.

I leveled my truck an didn't do any hard work or off road stuff with it so I wasn't worried. If I wanted to lift it I would work with a reputable company an explain what I wanted to achieve an how I planned on using the truck an see what they suggest.

No problem with mine. Did my research and did it right. 100% happy with outcome and zero issues except badassery!

You mean like when Bronco owners beef up the steering rack that is designed to be weak without beefing up anything else?

All they have done is transferred the weak part to a different place.

That is the worst thing, in my mind, when one part is changed - suspension, or bolt on engine parts, without a single thought to the rest of the system.

What is that tune and turbo going to do to the inside of the motor or the drive train while I'm mashing the throttle like a NASCAR driver offroad?

Summarized - people are stupid and do stupid and dangerous things and blame everyone else. ?

Wow, that's like a Phil wisdom?

I do agree, I have seen a lot of unexpected side effects from raising and lowering, some dangerous.

But... I can't talk, I'm the guy who bought a Tremor and lowered the back to level it.

Lol.

I don't know why, but this reminds me of the guys in high school who lowered their cars by cutting the coil springs.

How did you know I cut the leaf springs?, I just chopped off the back half and have it resting on the bump stops
